Latest news
Hi, sorry I haven't updated this for a while. We are now in the routine of work, paying bills etc and we haven't been out that much. The best news is that David has now passed his driving test. Here is a picture of him with his car we bought him
He is quite a good driver and seems confident. It's great for Sam and I because now we don't have to be his personal taxi service. He'll have to get a job now to pay for petrol, insurance Etc. He also wants to put in big speakers, decent stereo and all the other things young people want in their cars.
The car is a 1995 Toyota Camry, it has a 2.2 litre engine and runs like a dream. Insurance is very reasonable compared with the UK and we are looking at about £150 per year for third party fire and theft. When we were living in the UK I checked on insurance for a 1 litre Vauxhall Corsa and it was over £1000 a year!!

We all went to Australia Zoo today (easter sunday), David drove us down there in his car. It's only about 20 minutes away and we had a great time. Here are a few pictures
Australia Zoo is a great place and it is really sad that Steve died. There is a small section of the zoo where they have put some of the things people took there in rememberence. Things like shirts signed, pictures painted etc. It was quite sad to see. It's also strange though because Stevo's pictures are still all over the place and he's also on videos etc showing around the zoo. It's like he is still alive. Sam and I bought an annual pass to the zoo so if any one comes to visit us we can get in for free (always one for a bargain)
Otherwise from a news point nothing much to report. My job at Pro Computers is still going well, I've had several 'different points of view' to the business owner but luckily enough he has come round to my way of thinking :-)) The job is great though as I have no boss or anyone to answer too, I have 2 people in our shop that fix PC's I bring in and I only have to deal with businesses so no hassle with home users not wanting to spend anything. It's good to be working with people again and everyone in the team is good.
Our dog (Wish) is getting big now, we had to have her desexed last week so all the male dogs leave her alone. It's also a lot cheaper with dog registration if she is desexed. Here is a picture of her I took a couple of days ago
After I took this picture she ran off because the flash scared her!!
Well that's about it for now. I'll try and keep this blog a bit more up to date from now on. I don't want to bore people though with day to day mundane stuff like shopping etc.
We are looking forward to visitors coming over. My mum is coming over in December and Sam's dad is coming over in November. Mum's staying for about a month and Sam's dad is here for about 2 months. Also, hopefully our friends Sean and Becky are coming over for a holiday in December with their 2 children. I do hope it's not too hot next summer, it was mild this year with a top of only 34 degrees. If anyone else want's to come over then let us know and we'll make you very welcome
We'd love to hear from anyone that looks at this blog, remember you can call us on 0560 0030930, the cost to call this is the same as you would pay to call someone in the same town or village you live in (less than 1p per minute off peak) or send us an email to say what you have been up to. Email address for me is kevin@isolveit.com.au and sam@i-solve-it.com for Sam.
Bye for now
